HUMAN SWINE INFLUENZA
Toorak College would like to
inform our school community
that we are closely
monitoring the current
information provided by the
Department of Health &
Ageing as well as the AISV
re the outbreak of Human
Swine Influenza.
In light of the increasing
number of outbreaks of H1N1
Influenza 09 (Human Swine
Influenza) in schools
overseas, the National
Pandemic Emergency Committee
(NPEC) recommends a 7 day
period of exclusion from
school children (including
adolescents) following
international travel to a
country of concern.
We ask that families
considering overseas travel
during the June/July break
be aware of the most current
government advice in
relation to affected
countries of concern.
