Champion
.JPG)
The annual State Young Rider
Show Jumping
Championships, run by EFA Victoria, bring together some of
the best Juniors in the country. There are three levels.
They are U14, U18 and U21. The 2009 titles, held at the
National Equestrian Centre on April 24, saw a South
Australian win the U18 and a New South Welshman win the U21.
The U14 was the only title to stay in Victoria with Toorak
College’s Magenta Hornsey piloting Llewellyn Hotshot, the
sole rider to go double clear in the final to win a $200
cash prize, an inscribed rug for Llewellyn Hotshot and the
2009 Victorian State Show Jumping U14 Champion Sash for
herself. Yet another feather in the Toorak College
Equestrian Team cap.
